FISH OIL DOSES FOR DOGS, CATS AND OTHER PETS The doses listed are the EPA and DHA in a fish oil supplement added together. (If the supplement does not specify EPA and DHA then it is poor quality and should not be used. On the other hand, simply listing EPA and DHA does not guarantee good quality.) The dose for dogs has been reasonably well established for three indications: DOG AMOUNT OF EPA AND DHA ADDED TOGETHER 5 57 238 589 10 93 386 961 15 126 525 1302 20 156 650 1612 25 186 775 1922 30 213 886 2201 35 240 1000 2480 40 264 1100 2728 45 288 1200 2976 50 312 1300 3224 55 336 1400 3472 60 360 1500 3720 65 381 1586 3937 70 402 1675 4154 75 423 1762 4371 80 444 1850 4588 85 465 1936 4805 90 486 2025 5022 95 498 2075 5146 100 525 2183 5425 105 546 2275 5642 110 564 2350 5828 115 582 2425 6014 120 603 2513 6231 The doses for cats have not been established by research as well as they have for dogs, but there is general agreement on: - Daily minimum - Anti-inflammatory dose, for kidney disease, heart disease, skin disease, arthritis and any other inflammatory problems CAT AMOUNT OF EPA AND DHA ADDED TOGETHER
